Get Prepared!

I´m starting a new blog. You better get prepared. While I´m learning the basics of web design – all the color theory, typographic and CSS stuff you should enjoy a good meal – like the potato soup I pureed together earlier.
Get Prepared
It´s really easy to make. You just need two little onions, two hands full of potatoes and vegetable stock. Gently roast the chopped onions, dice the potatoes, add to the light brown onions and fill up with the vegetable stock and cook until the potatoes are mild.

Meanwhile put some slices of bacon into the microwave for about 2 minutes and chop the result to fain grains. Dice one potato into smaller pieces and roast them in olive oil – season with salt, pepper and nutmeg – which is a must for every potato meal.

Now you can puree the cooking potatoes and season the result with salt, pepper and again – nutmeg. put the dices into a soup plate, add the soup and scatter some of the fine grained bacon and some chive. Enjoy.

I hope you unterstood what I´m trying to tell you – english is not my first language. Actually I´m german and this little blog is my attempt to advance my language skill. So you´re very welcome to add some corrections in the comments.

My main objective for 2010 is loosing weight. What I´m about to do here is share my meals with you (as long as I´m proud of them – like with the potato soup). To meet the challenging goal of weight loss I will try to adopt the primal lifestyle as promoted by the Primal Blueprint – but pragmatic – as you can see with the soup. Potatoes are so not primal, it hurts. But every once in a while it may even be ok for Grok to eat the potatoes. Next time I´m trying to do better – as I´m trying with my english ;-)

So stay tuned!
